“Im disappointed with my shampoo bar. Its smaller than expected. It doesnt lather. Ive only used it four times and its nearly all gone and broken up into unusable pieces. Im not having problems with the conditioning bar even though it is also smaller than expected.”
Good morning Andrea, thanks for your review and I'm sorry to hear you have had problems with the Shampoo Bar. It's very unusual for the Shampoo Bar not to lather, can you advise if the bar had white speckles in it or was it a solid colour. It's possible that this could be a packaging error or it's a faulty bar. If you can advise the best address I'd be happy to send you a new bar to try so we can solve the issue.

“Trying all the shampoo/conditioner bars to see which suits my hair the best (regularly coloured, can be dry on the ends and fairly thick).... so far the rehab bars are my favourite (but they are all very good!). Was very dubious about trying shampoo bars as other brands have left my hair like a tangled matt of dry straw! But not these Wideye bars.... my hair is soft, manageable, conditioned, shiny, smells great and all this from the first use. And you can use the conditioner on your roots and it doesn't leave hair greasy or flat. My only wish is for bigger bars! I have brought my second round of these now, and they will be on repeat now. Goodbye expensive Olaplex and plastic bottles, hello Wideye and amazing hair!”

I was really excited to try this as I am unable to use the other shampoo bars by Wideye.
Like another company, they contain castorate which leaves a waxy residue in my hair/hairbrush & it takes forever to clean out of both!
(before people mention 'transition period' I have been using solid shampoo bars for the last 20 years. 15 along side bottle shampoo with the last 5 just using solid bars alone)
I have straight, just below shoulder length hair & though lots of it, individual strands are very fine so gets oily quickly. I therefore wash it, at least, every other day
This shampoo l have found, leaves it feeling soft & doesn't seem to 'strip it' so I can easily leave for a day before washing again.
I was guided by the helpful staff in the Brighton store towards a choice of three & chose this one purely on the fragrance as I love citrus & so does my hair it seems :)
It doesn't really lather so I make sure my hair is throughly wet before rubbing the bar directly onto my hair in a downwards motion & once it has built up, massage into my hair & scalp before rinsing thoroughly.
