“Gorgeous scent, but disappointed to see the use of phenoxyethanol in the shower gel and clay melts. I bought as a treat for myself but then looked at the ingredients once it arrived. My husband wasn’t so fussed so he’s taken the shower gel and put it in his gym bag. We both love wideye products and they make your bathroom smell like a Spa for days! The scrub is great and the soap is gorgeous too. My kids love to use it (we’ve been trying to go more natural and stop using synthetic fragrances and nasty chemicals. )”
Hi Rosalie, thanks for kind review, great to hear you're family are loving the products! When we formulated our shower gels we had to use some form of preservative for the product to pass regulations. We completely understand why you might want to avoid this ingredient, however we use the smallest amount possible so there is only a small trace, it's also one of the safer options out there compared to what you might find in more mainstream products.
