“The cover is not an exact match for our furniture but it does fit really well and does seem a lot more weather resistant than the one we bought initially, time will tell but happy so far.”

At the same time we purchased Weatherproof Garden Furniture Protective PVC Cover Set for Left Hand Corner L Shaped Sofa and Dining Table Product code: W20484.
This proved to be useless in wind and we have used weights and ratchet straps to keep the covers on, but they now have more holes than a Tetley teabag.
So I was delighted to see the Protex covers made specifically for my Nova furniture on your website, and at first glance this seemed to be a quality product.
1) the buckle straps which attach to the feet(which are L Shaped on the sofa) are too short. The buckle has to be right at the end of the strap, buckle connected and the strap then stretched round the foot.
2) there isn't a buckle strap for the front internal corner foot. Don't know if there should be one but the cover lifts in the wind without one. That will wear the cover from the inside.
3) the left hand end tensioning strap has the short strap and half buckle totally missing. This is probably a one off but indicative of quality control standards.
4) Because the foot straps are so short the cover is pulled right down to the bottom of the sofa. This may be why the cover is so high and taut on the internal corner....I can see this joint failing under tension. Alternatively not made to the correct dimensions.
5) the cover for the table leaves a considerable part of the sides exposed at the lower edge.
6) the tensioning straps end up with the buckles UNDER the sofa.
7) the air vents which should stop the covers from inflating are positioned such that they are blocked by the cushions rendering them ineffective.
Now, some of these issues may relate to our specific furniture; for example the foot straps would work with a thinner, tubular leg.
It's disappointing but this cover has not been designed or manufactured to easily fit our specific furniture.
On a final more positive note, communication with White Stores has been professional, proactive and supportive and despite my experience with these covers I wouldn't hesitate in buying other items from them in the future.”
“Quality product. Fed up buying cheap options that fail every time. Went with the sofa set 1st as it was brand new and want to look after it even though the size was a bit big. Took a chance on ordering another one for my new large rocking chair. 1m x 1m. Options available were 90cm x 90cm or much bigger. Due to the shape of the chair it fitted a treat. Really pleased”
