We’ve gone through two wood parasols which snapped like twigs eventually. Switched to this metal version which will hopefully last longer. Very happy with the build quality and smoothness of the crank and tilt functions. Holds up pretty well under light wind conditions, but definitely take it down under stronger winds. Good purchase…so far.

Really pleased with this parasol, it's not too heavy and the winding function works really well.

looks good but the first gust of wind bent one of the parasol arms. Managed to repair bit the arm material very thin. Would not recommend if you live in a windy area.

I did not like the fact you could not adjust the height.

We were recommended this umbrella to go with our table and told to get the 25kg weight to go with it. It turned out that base didn’t fit under the table so we were sent a 16kg weight instead. With even the slightest breeze the whole table lifts so we are unable to use it within the parasol hole in the table. We have since started using it away from the table within the 25kg weight but it has blown over on multiple occasion.

Brought in March 2022. Looks very sturdy and has a nice finish which matches the table. However after a few uses we have noticed the umbrella cannot stay fixed, it rotates with the wind. If too windy it lifts the table which is not great and if left out will damage table and parasol. In addition it does not have a height adjustment which may impact movement of parasol and cause more movement than normal. One of the arms under the umbrella has come out as stitching has come off. So have to manually adjust the top so umbrella can open. We have used the 25kg weight from website. Perhaps we need to use a heavier weight. All in all, it is an ok product but please note some or the issues we have come across after 2 months of use. Please note we do not leave the parasol out every night in order to prevent any overnight movement.
