“Before I get any more critical, let me just say, I love this product. I may even purchase another soon so that I always have one ready to wear.
That being said; I do have a few small critiques to make about the product(s) that I received. I first ordered a 36B; I understand this product is designed to be tight so that it can be used without straps; but I ended up deciding this fit was too small based on the pinching under the armpit; caused by the tight wire under-cup, so I ordered the next size up. The next size up also seemed to have this issue but after further examination I came to surmise that the chafing irritation wasn’t necessary due to the tight design, but rather the top end-seam quality around where the bones are housed. After a little handy-work using a heated pin, to essentially melt down and smooth out the irritating material, it has become much more pleasant to wear causing no irritation.
My only gripe is that I believe that my original purchase WAS probably the right size for me. But based on the issues, I didn’t really think twice about it at the time. Thinking it must be because its the wrong size for me.
I have since obviously “tampered” with the product, as well as having removed the returns label. That being said, I am happy enough with the one I have now. I just believe I could be wearing the more form fitting; tighter; original purchase that I received; just as; if not more comfortably than the one I am now currently wearing; in hindsight.
Secondly, small but still ‘mildly infuriating’. The garter clips which are detachable on this product all have westward facing hooks for fastening; bar one. Which is eastward facing. Again, not a deal breaking but enough to trigger my ocd.”
