“Very fast delivery arrived today - only ordered yesterday - packed well in 2 lots of 10 + 1 of 5 - the 10 packs each contained the thoughtful gift of a facial mask made of material, which I hadn't expected.The tea towels are nicely finished with no hanging threads or drooping seams - though they might not be the thickest, I've noticed that after they've been washed a time or two, just like hand and bath towels, tea towels tend to thicken up slightly so I'm hoping for the best. Of course tea towels are useful in many ways beyond just drying the pots - ideal for carrying in your bag for emergencies such as spills....also very good for protecting surfaces like tabletops from spills or scratches - I remember one of my friends years ago even constructing drawstring bags to put her shoes in from the humble tea towel. Maybe someone should write a book on tea towel creativity?Also, these are available in 3 different colour or a mixed pack, which is useful - though I personally follow my gran's advice and avoid red towels or tea towels - she always thought they were more likely to run in the wash than other colours - these days the dyes are probably far more reliable, but it's hard to let go of gran's wise words!”
