“I purchased this tuba nearly a year ago. I'm pleased with it. Intonation is excellent, especially the "middle C", which is terribly flat on other EEb tubas. I see two minor problems. First - I'm not able to use the clumsy 5th valve trigger without making major awkward movements of my hand. Second - the water key on the 4th valve circuit barely opens, making it difficult to drain. I also had problems with the threads on the piston valves, but this is a known problem. Oh, and Sam - I'm still enjoying that EEb Conn sousaphone I bought from you many years ago!”
