“Love the tone and range. Very comfortable playing position with excellent intonation from top c to the peddle notes. The service provided by Wessex was excellent. Only comment in terms of improvement would be to provide some storage in the case.”

“I only have this horn for a couple of weeks but it looks beautiful and feels solidly built. No defects or poor workmanship is evident to date. It blows freely and produces a sonorous tone throughout its range. There is a strap provided for marching (which I will never use). It came with a longer 4th valve slide to correct for sharpness and extra valve springs, valve guides and corks. Five water keys with protective sleeves ensure easy water draining. Valves work smoothly but 1st valve tends to stick. (Could improve once broken in) Only criticism I have is there is no 4th valve lock to protect it while in gig bag. Durability cannot be determined at this time.”
