“I am very happy with my purchase. This horn has a beautiful sound in all registers, is very responsive, and has good intonation. The only issues I have found thus far are a tendency for the first valve to easily gunk up and become sluggish. I’ve taken the valves out and cleaned and buffed them, while also cleaning out the casings well. I’m hoping it’s just maybe production goo traveling through the horn and that it will improve with time. I very much like the easy access water keys. I enjoy playing this horn daily!”

I would suggest running cleaning snake down leadpipe to ensure no gunk and thoroughly clean valves and you should then have trouble-free use. Pleased you are enjoying the tuba! Jonathan
