“Tuba came in great shape from Shipment. Although the first was damaged in shipment. Wessex was kind enough to quickly respond with a replacement. The tuba plays well in tune and seems well assembled. My only concern is the threading on the valve caps are off and it is difficult to put the caps back on after oiling the valves. The sound is beautiful, big, and even through all registers. The valve action is smooth and the slides are tight. Overall a great tuba for the money with my only concern being the valve caps.”

There is a specific technique for putting on valve caps. Push down on Center of valve button so cap is squared with valve, then turn cap anti-clockwise until you hear/feel click, then screw up clockwise. I hope that works and you will have no further problem
