“My recent purchase of the Leviathan Tuba, visiting the Wessex Tubas shop in person, was an altogether good experience - no pressure to buy - just genuinely good-humoured helpfulness and service. The instrument itself is quite unlike anything I've played before, including top-of-the-range, well-known-brand models. It is light and easy to handle; the valve action is easily the best I've experienced and the sound is smoother and rounder than anything I've known before - and I've been playing BBb tuba for in excess of 35 years. The band I play in have immediately noticed a difference, our musical director exclaiming that he can actually FEEL the sound through his feet as he is conducting! Whilst the instrument is still quite new to me, I am finding that I am enjoying it more each time I play it. I believe it to be a good investment both for myself and for the benefit of the band.”
