“Tuba plays beautifully. Took a little time getting familiar after transitioning from a St. Petersburg. Lower register is wonderfully resonent. I really enjoy the 4 piston valves compared to 4 rotary valves. I am able to play sixteenth notes much easier than on the St. Petersburg 4 valve rotary design. The only issue I have is water in the horn. Yes, it has 4 water valves but sometimes finding where the gurgling is coming from can be a challenge even after pulling all the slides out.”

“I have enjoyed playing this tuba. Nice intonation. A little discolouration around the rim due to water. Really enjoyed the 5 water valves... much easier than turning the tuba 3 times. Valve action very smooth and quiet. Paul”
