“I'm very surprised about the big sound a so compact instrument can give. I only play alone for instance but I will soon try with my bands. I usually play the sousaphone. Of course the sound is not so rich but incredibly loud for the size of the instrument. Very happy with it. I had a little trouble cause I lost a little valve dumper few days after received, but when I said that to Wessex, they send me some new ones only few days later.”

“I’ve been thinking about this horn for a while, and decided to take the plunge. I’m not disappointed. The finish and feel is outstanding, and the sound is much bigger than I expected! I’m still experimenting with mouthpieces to find the right match. I’ve found I need to have a firm intent as I play, but the effort is worth it. I’ve only played with a large group, but projection is enough to make myself heard. I’m looking forward to small ensemble playing. I recommend this horn to the experienced player”
