“3rd instrument I ordered from Wessex so far. Fast and quality delivery as usual. Playable out of the box. It has some tuning issues noticeably on some notes played on the first valve in the mid register. I switched out the standard Wessex 6 3/4 C mouthpiece for a way smaller Denis Wick 12CS and now the issue is far less noticeable and I can easily correct it. Another good thing is that it is still quite ergonomic. I have no difficulties holding it comfortably. Overall, it is a quite nice valve trombone and I like playing it.”
