I'm pretty much exclusively using the mouthpieces that came with my Wessex horns instead of the expensive ones I already had. Save yourself 200USD and use the Wessex.

first of all, very good work! for the sound, I use it on my old English Besson. the bass is incredible , but the treble is more forced. The shape is quite fun, and the mouthpiece is comfortable. I have more endurance on this one than on my BACH. it gets dirty quite quickly, but you just need to polish it to remove the marks. The printing is quite discreet, and I would recommend to make it more deep (for the printing). the sound is soft and melodious, very good work! I recommand it to anyone !

This is a very good mouthpiece. I use it on my Jupiter XO euphonium and like it very much. The mouthpiece maintains a lot of core, and still sings in alle registers. I also tried it on my Wessex Dolce, but didn't think it was the right mouthpiece for that instrument. If you play a heavy compensating euphonium, this mouthpiece is definitely worth trying!

Very good euphonium mouthpiece indeed! It is a unique design on the market today. For me it gives the sound plenty of core, but still sings beautifuly together with my XO euphonium. Looks like a funnel cup with very open backbore around a size 4 wick mouthpiece - diameter wise. A tip to Wessex: it would be interesting to know the dimensions of this mouthpiece. Maybe you could add it to the website?

I love both, the Wessex 4Y and Young2 mouthpieces. They are great. I have tried MANY brands of low brass mouthpieces and have decided to stick with Wessex 4y for my large bore instruments and Young2 for my small bore instruments (bass trumpets and tenor trombones). I love the shapes, feel, sound, etc. of the Wessex mouthpieces. Please keep making these types of mouthpieces. These mouthpieces are unique in a very very positive way. KUDOS! I highly recommend them. Mike
