This euphonium hits way above its pay grade! The note slotting is excellent as is the warm open tone quality. It can definitely handle serious airflow and has a crisp and articulate response. The entry-level euphonium from Wessex is an excellent instrument, but this upgrade removes some of the resistance from the upper register and is that much easier to play. Very highly recommended for both professional and amateur alike!

I love it. Wessex were great to deal with, quickly responding to all my questions. Then after purchase, the Euphonium was promptly shipped and arrived in Australia the following day (then a bit of time through our customs services). The instrument itself has a lovely tone and (with the longer, provided, slide) really good intonation. Can't fault the whole experience and absolutely love my Sinfonico Euphonium.

Unfortunately, it appears that I will probably be returning my recently purchased Sinfonico euphonium (received 9 June 2021). It’s a beautiful horn, with a beautiful sound, but… the brace supporting the right hand (and the right hand thumb, in particular) is too restrictive for me to play the instrument with any comfort. My right hand is not unduly large, so I am pretty surprised at this design peculiarity. Customer service was great. After contacting Wessex, I was able to return the horn to the Chicago facility for a full refund (minus shipping).

My Sinfonico arrived and I love it!! After months of unsuccessfully trying to find a decent second-hand Euphonium (within my budget), I discovered Wessex and took the risk of an online order with no ability to play the instrument in Australia before purchase. The company was great to deal with, quickly replying to all my questions before purchase. The instrument was expertly packed and shipped promptly, flying out of the UK to Australia the next day!! I've been playing every day since it arrived and I just love it. Comfortable, very presentable, beautiful tone and intonation and I just can't fault it. Thank you so much, Vanessa

Horn plays great! Great sound and intonation and cosmetically it is gorgeous. I would suggest adding a clamp to hold down the 4th valve when not in use. The only other issue is the lead pipe for large shank mouthpieces came dented. But, wow great horn!

I purchased the Sinfonico a month ago. This is an incredibly nice euphonium. The craftsmanship is outstanding, it’s tone is warm and focused with very good intonation. I have owned both the Dolce and Festivo and can say that the Sinfonico is a far cut above. It’s finish definitely catches ones eye. I also own a Hirsbrunner 479 and a Shires Q-40, the Sinfonico certainly holds its own against them. I currently use it in a British style brass band and in a brass quintet. Kudos to Wessex and the Wessex family, they take great pride in their instruments and workmanship!!
