“The only thing I don’t like is the mouthpiece. I have a hard time getting any real sound out of the instrument. Changing to a bigger bore Yamaha improved the sound. I wonder if you have any other mouthpieces for a tenor horn.”

“I'm very pleased with this horn. It's fun to play, and it has a nice sound. Intonation is quite good, and the valve action is fast and smooth. The silver plating looks great, and the slides are very smooth. The four water keys are conveniently placed. Delivery was pretty quick. I would recommend this horn!”

“Beautifully presented and good looking instrument. Case feels very lightweight but adequate. Low C seems very flat, but otherwise intonation okay. A couple of water keys appear to sit at a very acute angle to the drain hole which is worrying. Valves are good. Supplied mouthpiece produces a mellow tone. I also use a DW 3 which produces more sound. Overall a decent instrument for amateur / intermediate players.”
