“In principle, the instrument is in order so far. Unfortunately, valves are very delicate - you absolutely have to press straight - the instrument is very similar to a trombone in sound, but I was looking for that. I assume that the flugabone will be suitable for marching music.”

“There was no hindrance to the performance, but there was a small dent. Also, the specifications of the instrument have changed. It may be a good improvement.”

“I was disappointed in the long wait time for my instrument (which I had preordered in the Summer of 2019 and was unfortunately delayed until Fall of 2020). However, the Wessex staff communicated with me throughout the delay, and I was always able to ask when my instrument was going to be going for inspection, and I'm reassured that they're proud enough in their product to delay it rather than send it out unfinished. The horn I eventually got plays wonderfully!”
