Dear Caroline McKillen, Thank you for your feedback. I can see from your order that you had a size XL which we advertise to fit a chest 46" so you would have found this quite big on the chest for you. We say for the XL that the sleeve length is 26 3/4" and the body length is 31 ". Maybe you should try going down to our size large which is to fit your chest size of 44". Please make sure you use your free postage to either exchange or refund.
