“I’m only giving three stars, but i would recommend it, so long as it’s understood that you are getting the ‘new’ WF quality, not the old-school, ‘you’ll be passing this on to your kids in your will’ items that they used to sell. This is thin, unlined and unfinished in areas such as the pocket liners. The pockets are right at the sides, which wouldn’t be a problem if the material had heft and stretch, as you’d be able to pull your hands forwards to a comfortably position. But the thin material doesn’t let you do that in a reassuring way, so the pockets are no use, and only serve to illustrate the compromised quality. It will be very useful as a mid layer, because it’s slender and light, and a full length zip is great for venting warmth, but I won’t be buying mail order WF again - I’ll reserve future purchases for offers in shops, where I can see and feel what I’m getting. Not worth the RRP in a million years, but great for the £18 paid. Overall, underwhelming.”

“Being totally honest I was expecting more towards their macaroni texture with the material, whereas it's a soft fleece in texture with the appearance from a short distance of macaroni. Comfortable to wear with soft finishes around the wrist and neck areas. I tend to wear it with a light base layer underneath to aid with keeping in the warmth during this colder weather and it works a treat. Not bulky by any means. Apparently comes with a built in snuggle factor. I got this on a great offer but would question if it's worth the normal rrp. But would buy again for same or even a slightly dearer price. I ordered my normal xl and find it a good fit for 44 - 46in chest.”
