“Moved to Swansea from Glasgow and I was sure that Swansea is wetter. This gauge is helping me to sort that out. Was fairly easy to setup. Great to have the bubble level on the outside unit. Could it be better.... Well a mode on the display that graphed the rain over the past day would be a great update. I find the buttons on the back to be not so great - have to turn it around to be sure which I am pressing (raised button would be better). For the outside unit - it is black so temperature is influenced by sun!”

“The rain gauge transmits well and is sensitive to small drizzle, a good point, but, being black, the outdoor temperature reading is compromised if in the sun is shining. For accurate temp readings, the outdoor kit MUST be in the shade. Sometimes difficult if the kit is the catch all the rain, for example, if wind means it's fall isn't vertical. And for me in summer, when the sun is north of due east, I can't find somewhere in the shade. Why use black for such a unit?”
