“I bought one of these five years ago and it has served me well. I only empty it weekly, and this winter it got frozen up (which has happened before) and this time cracked, although surprisingly it doesn't leak. Easy to use, very durable, and not too intrusive in the garden. I'll keep the old one as a spare.”

“Very easy to install and effective at collecting rain. Fairly easy to read the gauge. Like many gadgets I wish the markings were in a contrasting colour, making it easier to read, instead of just embossed markings where you have to get just the right lighting to read accurately. On this gadget it is not too difficult as the embossed markings are quite large and I am reading it outdoors with good lighting. It would just be that little bit easier with a colour.”
