“It is very neat and will fit in with any decor ... It is very accurate and easy to set up ... There was only one small problem initially ... It reset the time to where it receives its signal from, namely Germany ... In the setting-up instructions (GB 7.1) you can alter the time zone and this should correct the time difference ... I am hoping that it will now keep to UK time in future ... The outdoor transmitter is not properly waterproof so I wrapped it with several layers of clingfilm to make it fully waterproof ... It works very well like this at well over ten metres and every time the batteries need replacing I will re-wrap it to retain the waterproof covering ... Obviously when the transmitter is wrapped this way the hygrometer won't work but at least the transmitter is waterproof with the several layers of clingfilm ... Highly recommended if you want a simple weather station.”

“I bought this weather station to replace an ageing Oregon Scientific which had given up the ghost - could not connect to the outside sensor. The TFA HORIZON 35.1155 Weather Forecast Station & Barometer was easy to set up and found the outside sender almost immediately- my Oregon Scientific sometimes took 24 hours if at all. There is only one small point to note that the atomic clock which sets the time is in Germany so the default will set +1 hr GMT (if you are in the UK) but this can quickly be sorted out by following the instructions and toggling through to set the location to London (or Dublin). Clarity of display is very good with a handy light button on top. A clever feature is the sunrise and sunset times plus the ability to set the barometric pressure to both relative and absolute - handy if you live at high altitude. I recommended the unit to my next door neighbour and he has bought the identical unit.”

“I returned this product because it only works off the Frankfurt time signal. Changing it manually to GMT only lasts a short while until it resets. Otherwise it seems a great weather station for domestic use.”
