“This is a second sensor to add to a recently purchased base station & sensor package. With batteries in, the sensor immediately showed the temperature but the base station wasn't "seeing" it. Pressing the Channel button on the back of the TFA Horizon did nothing. Something I recall reading in the base station handbook made me press the Channel button for 3 seconds and a connection was made. I set the base station to cycle through the two sensors. So all good, one star deducted for connection issues.”

“I bought a TFA weather station on ebay. I should have known better! The outdoor sensor was reading 14 degrees celsius when the pond was frozen over. I decided to bite the bullet and ordered a further sensor from WeatherShop. Arrived perfectly packaged and in good time. No communication difficulties - worked "out of the box". The Weather Station is now reliable.”

Many thanks for your feedback, we welcome all comments good or bad. The sensor is weatherproof as opposed to waterproof and should be sited in a sheltered location, we have amended the product description to make this clearer. In the meantime, a member of our team will be contacting you to discuss other options.
