“I bought this instrument to monitor the temperature in 3 places - in our living room, outside, and in the greenhouse. Also to get some basic weather-forecasting information. It does all this very well. I have 4 reservations. (i) The instructions are very hard to follow and I gave up, settling for the basic set-up, of cycling readings between the 3 remote sensors. It will do much more than this but I don't have the time or energy to find out how. (ii) I am a bit disappointed with the range. My greenhouse is 20m from the instrument, in direct line of sight, and with only 2 panes of glass in the way. Nevertheless, reception is very intermittent. The other 2 sensors are fine, even with stone house-walls in the way. I tried swapping the sensors around, but no improvement. (iii) The backlight stays on for far too short a time. (iv) The control buttons are on the back and make setting up a cumbersome business. Much better if they were on the front, even if it meant the instrument had to be larger. But it is doing what I wanted it to do and I am very happy with it overall. One day I will try to decipher enough of the instructions to set a temperature alarm for the greenhouse!”

“This is a useful piece of equipment but I found the instructions ( provided in several languages ) a bit difficult to follow to begin with - particularly the manual set up section. The instructions seemed fine but the set up never fully engaged and as a UK user the time kept shifting back to German time. After several re reads and resets it finally does seem to have connected to the UK time zone and hopefully it will stay with that connection. ☀️”

“I set the clock to the right time , then after a couple hours it changes to the time being transmitted over air ways! Reading the display is poor contrast.”

“I had to replace my Oregon Weather station and The Weather Shop was excellent at suggesting a range of alternatives to consider. i bought a Technoline WS 9050 with two extra sensors and I am very pleased with what it does with two additional sensors. Five stars for The Weather Shop and Four to Technoline.”
