“I bought this replacement as I had been very pleased with the performance of its predecessor, but which with age and our pretty rough coastal weather eventually caused items to deteriorate. Installation was simple, pretty much just a straight one for one swap on the existing mounts. Connection with the new console was simple and pretty much automatic. The console itself is sleek and neat. The only drawback is that changing settings is slow and the menu structures convoluted and randomly designed. I was also able to connect my old console to the new station, so I now have two separate consoles, and the old one continues to work with it's days logger.”
