“A truly excellent instrument. Highly accurate readout of all available parameters from both the Control Console and the WeatherLink Software. Installation and set-up was so easy. I also run stand-alone instrumentation of laboratory standard and the results from the 6250UK match exactly those provided by the laboratory instrumentation. I wish I'd purchased this Davis equipment a long time ago instead of suffering the incessant problems experienced with other cheaper brands. Please keep up the good work.”

“First purchase didn't get off to a great start because the ISS wind speed wouldn't register diddly squat on the console. It was returned for a replacement which arrived about 3 weeks later. It took a few phone calls and emails to get it replaced but I am very happy with the performance and information that it provides. Good: Build Quality Comprehensive data and update speeds Beats the cheaper Chinese offerings that I've purchased before Not Quite So Good: Console looks dated Console not the easiest to set but you need to read the manual first ISS could do with spirit level under the body for those who need it up high on a pole in order to get the thing square/ level All in all I am delighted with the product and even with the above comments it's worth 5 Stars Steve Tricker”

“This is my first weather centre so pleased I went for the Davis found it quite easy to set up, problem is I can't take my eyes of it. Would highly recommend this product and the weather shop for there excellent service.”

“The station is robust and has so far had good operational data. I find the readout a bit confusing and not colourful like other units available. Does all I need as an amateur.”

“I bought this as a replacement for a Youshiko which failed twice in the first 14 months. It is very easy to install and seems a lot more robust and accurate than the Youshiko.”

“The Vantage Vue was simple to set up but the torque setting for the mast clamp seemed rather high, I used 7. No software disc was included in the box but is easily obtained on-line and worked first time. Better software instructions can be found at https://www.equipcoservices.com/pdf/manuals/davis_weatherlink.pdf which ironed out some puzzles. The software seems a bit cumbersome but does the job. I am very satisfied with the performance and apparent accuracy of the recorded values. It is irritating that you have to purchase the data logger as well to get data display and analysis on your pc. All this being said it does the job even if it cost 4x more than its predecessor but I bought on the strength of its reported robustness, its predecessor couldn't cope with our exposed location.”

“Only lasted just over 8 years, datalogger went followed by dead console.Power supply is ok”
