“Colour makes it an attractive item. Set up time manually and you will find within 24 hours it has linked to the radio timing station. Best feature is being able to monitor temperature in 4 different places including outdoors. Set up took no more than 10 minutes”

“First I should say a big thank you to the lady at the Weather Shop who helped me find this device. You can't talk to a real live person at Amazon like that. ***** five stars for service. The Accur8 isn't very. The clock didn't find the radio signal and is running slow, but fortunately that is it's least important function. The temperature readings look about right but the humidity gives odd readings compared to an older Oregon Scientific device. What is missing though is a readout of the atmospheric pressure. I don't see how it can calculate a forecast without knowing the pressure trend. The little 'forecast' display is no more than a joke, but nothing I have seen gets even close to being useful. As a device to show me the temperature and humidity in various parts of the house and garden it does the job and it was cheap.”

“The Accur8 weather station has been a great success. Our gas Aga has been converted to electricity so I now know the outside temperature and that of 3 rooms following a change in fuel and am more confident about the reading from the main thermostat in the hall. I have been able to move sensors through all my rooms and adjust the individual radiator thermostats more accurately. At initial set up I laid out all three sensors next to each other and note a variability of 0.5 to 0.7°C, but that is acceptable from my point of view.”
