I returned my ( second) unit as the unit showed only cloud when it was - and was forecast sunny. An exchange was promised. to date 1 week later - nothing. I am told the engineers need to test the unit. Obiously I am not trusted to determine if the item is faulty. All i want is a unit that works as it should.

Had this weather station for 2 weeks and it meets all my requirements. It is easy to set up although latching on to the date and time does take a time. As some other reviewers have noted the pressure setting need to be set to either absolute (the default) or relative to reflect your need. The screen is somewhat crowded but I soon got used to it; however I do feel the weather forecast screen is needlessly large. All in all a fine product.

After a couple of weeks use it continues to work flawlessly. The measurements are a good match to Met Office data. To get the most accurate readings (especially humidity), I found it best to position the sensor in the middle of the garden and clear of the ground, e.g. on a table and away from walls and fences. At the same time, it should be shielded from direct sunlight. Another point to note is that atmospheric pressure falls off with height. I am 80 metres (260 feet) above sea level , giving a 10 millibar drop compared to forecasts, which is accurately shown in the measurement. The radio-controlled clock takes 5-10 minutes to lock on to the broadcast, during which the display is blanked. This was rather alarming at first but I believe it is normal and there is no problem after that. All in all, very pleased.

Several reviews say that there is a significant but consistent error in the barometer reading. At first I thought that was the case but I then realised that it's possible to change the setting on the weather station: this seems to switch between the actual pressure and the pressure normalised to sea level. The difference in my case (my house is 255 feet above sea level) is about 10 hPa. I must admit I don't know how the station knows its elevation, though. Set-up was easy and this an excellent value weather station.

Nice design and easy to use but very inaccurate. Temp reading okay but forecast weather very wrong (assume linked to pressure & humidity readings?). Has been best weather in SE UK this week with blue skies and sun but forecast has shown snow or rain every morning! Like the sunrise & set details. Disappointed!

I have a the weather station for a week or two now. The instrument installed correctly and worked first time. It indicates the correct temperatures inside and outside to a satisfactory degree of precision compared with a separate, independent temperature -measuring device. Obviously I have no data regarding the longevity of the instrument.
