“Very impressed with the station and also the service from Weather Shop. Everything working as it should and took very little time to set up - made easy by having decent instructions. Was a bit apprehensive after reading some reviews about the instructions but found them easy to understand and follow. Changing settings is easy and although I’ve not been through everything yet am happy that it provides really good and accurate information.”

“As my old weather station had started to let me down, I selected the Accur8DWS7100 as a replacement. I have been using it for about a week so far and find it a satisfactory instrument. My one main concern is that the rain guage is, as are many tipping rain guages, quite inaccurate. I have compared results with my manual guage which I have used for many years and find the the Accura8 under reads by a significant percentage. Other than that I am satisfied.”

“Easy to set up. Wi-fi a bit fiddly but found an excellent video on YouTube which explained it easily. My only criticism is that I bought it to replace an ageing LED station in my conservatory. It is impossible to read the Accur8 in a conservatory in those light conditions. Had to move it inside which rather defeats the object.”

“So after a few years of good service, it was time to replace my Watson W-8681 weather station. Having done a little research, and it is quite difficult to compare different makes and models unless you know what you are looking for, I decided on the ACCUR8 DWS7100 7-in-1 Complete Solar-Powered WiFi Weather Station. What a great choice! Very easy to assemble and set up physically plus the connecting of wifi and to the internet ( I subscribe to WeatherCloud ) was again very straightforward and all worked 1st time. The one potential issue I found was my temperature readings were quite different (overstated ) to the many other stations logged onto WeatheCloud for my area so after a few days I decided to recalibrate and bring my readings down to the average of all of the others. Again, following the instructions the recalibration was a very simple process. Overall, very pleased with the unit, can't really fault it at all .. Does exactly what it says on the packaging! Next step will be to add a couple of additional in-door sensors to it. One for the wish list, it would be great to be able to add additional displays. Whether your 1st weather station or just an upgrade/change, I can highly recommend it. I also purchased the Universal Pole Mounting Kit which again made the whole set-up process very easy.”

“My ACCUR8 has now been in use for just over 3 months. Although I've not been able to check its accuracy with other calibrated devices it appears to work well. The display is clear, although the "weather forecast" is somewhat pointless. The station and sensors connect readily to the display unit, which itself was easy to connect to my wifi and Wunderground. There are only two downsides that I've encountered so far. The base station connects and disconnects to the wifi every minute, which is an irritant if you like to check the security logs on your router. The second issue is that any pressure calibrations that have been set are lost if there's a powercut. Living in a village this is not uncommon and so I have to reset this each time.”

“Going piece of kit for the price. Difficult setting the time etc as instructions are terrible. Should be easier to set up also, but does the job. Console nice and clear and large enough to read at distance good length of cable too . Ideal for the amateur weather watcher like myself.”
