“When I ordered the sill i don’t believe it mentioned that it was an oversize part, I’m thinking that it’s designed to go over an existing sill rather then complete replacement”

Thanks for taking the time to review. These don't fit over the top of the existing, they are a replacement reproduction panel. As with all reproduction panels, the tolerances are not as accurate as a Genuine item would have been when available.
