“Excellent value and excellent quality. Robust clip/ratchet does not slip despite substantial dynamic loading (without going into too much detail I used these to provide additional strength to the frame of my son's bed - which gets a severe workout when his girlfriend stays over). I can think of a thousand uses for these and will certainly be using ukratchestraps again. I've no idea if they are the cheapest on the market but I thought the price was more than fair and once I've found a good service-provider I stick with them. I thought at first I needed to shorten the strap - because it was over-length for what I needed - but I worked it out in the end - a simple diagram would have been helpful (but most people will probably work it out pretty quickly in practice). And If you've used similar before then it would have been obvious how they work.”
