Thanks for your review. The corner protectors are designed to prevent the straps rubbing on the load and prevent friction damaged. They need to be applied to the corners of right angled loads so there is no void under the protector. Otherwise when you apply a heavy duty ratchet strap and tension it they can snap as they are not designed to be load bearing and hence why they are plastic. The other alternative to use is heavy duty wear sleeves which are more suitable if you don't have a solid right angled cornered load.

“Have occasion as a self employed transport operator to need to use protection for straps on sharp edge or brittle edge loads I carry. These are necessary and sometimes obligatory at sites. I decided these were ideal for my purposes and ordered 26 to use for every pallet that fits a 13.6 metre trailer. I found them to be competitively priced and delivered in a reasonable time. They are already in use and are ideal for what I need.
