“I bought these for archiving papers, photos etc. They are a good size, big enough for all but the most extreme postcards, and they fit neatly into a 3L Really Useful Box sideways. The price is good. I've bought from Transpack before and I'll be back. The only fly in this lovely ointment is the adhesive flap. Because it is a conservation project, I don't want adhesives anywhere near my stored items, and I have to cut the flaps off. This is also necessary to get the envelopes to fit the box properly, so it's doubly necessary. I wonder if Transpack might consider whether there is a market for conservation materials, and whether it might be a good idea to tailor sizes to fit things like Really Useful Boxes deliberately rather than by chance. A lot of people are tracing their family histories these days, and looking for conservation quality storage. Here's hoping!”
