Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. I am very sorry to hear about your experience and understand how frustrating this must have been, particularly with a fire inspection scheduled.
We apologise for the delay in delivery. I am afraid our delivery service would be for next working day, the order was placed on 1st January and, unfortunately, courier services were affected by the Christmas and New Year period, but your order should have most definitely been with you on the 5th January. This is not the level of service we aim to provide, and as acknowledged, the delivery charge has been fully refunded due to the inconvenince this has caused you.
In regards to the issue with the door channelling, I am afraid with this product door channelling is required for a 2-4mm gap, however a few fire rated door jambs on the market will have a pre routed channels for the intumescent to slot in.
