“I bought these as I have worn Gipsy smooth knit tights before and like the feel of them, so I wanted to see what these were like as I prefer wearing stockings and hold ups to tights. I have thes in nearly black, black ,mink and melon colours. I have only worn the nearly black pair so far so can only comment on them. I am 5ft 7 with 31 inch leg, have a UK size 7-8 mens shoe size and I around 140lbs (63-64kg) and these stockings fit me well in leg length and the foot is good without being tight or restrictive in any way. When I wear stockings, I wear them with pearl & Poseidon Gretta leg garters. I prefer to put the leg gaters at the very top of my legs so that stockings welt won't show at the bottom of my shorts. The leg garters have very short suspender straps that you can't adjust, and these smooth knit stockings come up high enough for the welt to attach to them. They have the same soft, smooth feel to the smooth knit tights, which I quite like. The only small issue I had which is why I am giving them 4 stars was that I noticed they can snag easily and I got a couple of small snags on them when I touched them with my hands, other than that small issue, I really like these stockings.”
