Hello, Our gloves are one of the first natural rubber household gloves to market in the UK that have passed biodegradability testing (in accordance with ASTM D5511)and we are very proud of this. They are lighter because they have been specially developed to biodegrade, but should work just as well as other household gloves on the market.
