“I love their eco sponge scourers. The best biodegradable scourers I've tried. They last a long time too. I bought a pack of 3 initially and have now stocked up for a year as made more economic sense.”
“The sponge is OK for flatter objects but is quite stiff and really not supple enough for the insides of cups etc. and I find difficult to use on knives and forks etc.
The scourer is not really up to removing more stubborn residue and I find I have to us another for these.
As I feel I will need to use another product as well, I doubt I will buy again but have a years supply so will use them up.”
Hello have you tried putting them in the washing machine as this should soften them up plus the more you use them the more malleable they will become and on really stubborn food stains we recommend our copper scourers
“The sponge scourers are good size for fitting into mugs/glasses etc.
Retain shape and composition well, scourer side is maybe not abrasive enough for hard- baked on food, but good for every day use. Love that they're eco friendly materials.”
“So far, so good. We purchased a bundle of 12 cleaning sponges and the 1st one is on week 3. It is still in the same condition as when it started work. Each week it soaks for 10 minutes in boiling water with a small dash of (enviro-friendly) disinfectant and they off we go again.”
“I would not recommend them. I appreciate the move to an eco sponge but after 4 uses, the 'scour' pad ripped and detached from the sponge. They have minimal scrubbing power on pans with a light amount of cooked on food or oil spills. They don't get anywhere near the hard water stains and I found myself needing to buy plastic sponges again to tackle this.”
