“I was so disappointed with these sponges, especially because I was so excited about the purchase. I’ve been eyeing them up for a while but couldn’t justify the cost, but finally my worries about the environment meant that I looked into them further. When I saw the claim that they are super strong and hardworking and that I’ll only need one sponge a month, I took the plunge. Sure, £2 per sponge is a lot of money but if i only use one a month, that is worth it. Reader, it is not worth it. These sponges cannot take regular kitchen use. The first one basically fell apart in 3 days. If you’re planning to use them just to do a bit of casual wiping of surfaces, then probably fine, but if you want to use them to wash dishes / frying pans / pots then forget about it. I’ve had to lie to my family about how much they cost because I’m genuinely embarrassed to have wasted money on this product.”
“I’m afraid the scrubby sponges I bought recently are totally useless for scrubbing anything off pans. I don’t mean really burnt on stuff, just Norma, everyday stuff. Such a disappointment, as seemed a really good idea.”
“Sponge disintegrated after two weeks of use. The loofah part which was meant the a scouring pad fell of first. We had thought the first sponge was faulty but the second was even worse. The overall price is already high and doubles if we need to change to a new sponge after a fortnight instead of the month as advertised. The only good thing about it is that it composts - albeit too quickly!”
“The scouring portion of the sponge works well and can be used on non-stick pans which is great. The sponge itself also works well and is very absorbent. I think my box will last me more than a year!”

“Although the product is good I was disappointed with the "Save £5" offer. Had I paid the full price (£25) delivery would have been free, however on taking up the offer to save £5, I discovered that there was a £3.95p delivery charge, which wasn't mentioned until reaching the payment section, so when that was added the actual saving was £1.05p not the advertised £5. This may affect my future relationship with the company as I will definitely scrutinise any offer closely before committing to purchase.”
“They are the best sponges I have found that are eco friendly and durable, that do not fall apart or separate (unlike others) and they look good too. They usually last around a month and I just throw them in the dishwasher to keep them clean.”
