“I don’t normally buy anything just because I see an advert on Facebook but this time I took a chance, I hate using the little yellow sponges for washing up so I took a chance with this product from Seep and I’m so glad I did I think I paid £26 for my box and I will definitely do it again, I wash up 2 or 3 times per day by hand and normally a sponge will last about 2 weeks and here I am 3 weeks in and the new sponge from Seep is almost line new, I’m definitely pleased with my purchase, thanks Seep”
“I really wanted to love this product, and I will continue to use them but I do have some issues with them. The courser side is very stiff, which means the whole pad ends up being inflexible, which makes it harder to manoeuvre and reshape to fit into bottoms of glasses etc. The foam is also coming apart quite quickly as the knives cut right through it. If they could make the product more flexible/durible it would be 5 stars, but we will continue to use them and love that they are more sustainable”
Hello Lauren, thank you for taking the time to review us. The sponge scourers need to be dried out before they can be packaged and dispatched to customers. When you start to use your sponge scourer, rinse it under water and give it a gentle massage before use to soften it up. The sponge will become even softer with continued use and washing up liquid. They will also soften up with usage, so the longer you use it for, the softer and more malleable it gets. You can speed this up by popping it into the washing machine or dishwasher a few times. Alternatively try our larger pop-up.
Hello Katherine, thank you for your feedback on the sponges scourers. We are sorry that we have fallen a little short for you. It would be great if you could get in touch with us at hello@theseepcompany.com so we can see what has happened. We do put them through quality control, but the odd one does slip through the net, and as they are 100% plastic-free, made from natural materials, which are more difficult to work with, it can also be trickier to see
