“It's early days with Seep sponges, but it looks promising. I recently bought a pack of 8, which Seep claims will last 1 year. Bottom line is that Seep sponges must clean items as well as a plastic sponge bought at the supermarket. So far this is proven. I've used them for general washing-up, and to clean kitchen worktops, stove top etc and it works well. It cleaned a ceramic dish - which was caked with burnt-on cheese - quite well. It was difficult to clean in the corners of the dish, so I used the edge of the sponge which is slightly harder, cleaned it vigorously, and it all came off. To clean the sponge, I've washed it in the dishwasher and it's come out nice and clean and not damaged at all. We'll use the sponge elsewhere in the house, e.g. to clean sinks, shower, bath and toilets, and see how it goes.”
