“I've only recently started using the Eco Sponge Scourers but they seem hard wearing. They take a little getting used to as they are sturdier than the yellow and green plastic scourers, but that makes them longer lasting. Once you get used to the firmness they clean well. For any more stubborn stains I use the copper scourers.”
Thank you. Because they are made from 100% natural materials, as you have said, they can take time to get used to, as they do feel different from the plastic ones that we have all been used to. :-)
“Really impressed with these wahing up sponges. Much better than the sponges with the rough side that always goes a bit 'ratty' after a while. The Seep sponges are making washing up a whole lot better.”
“As a sponge cleaner it's fine. Substantial and of high quality it does a good job of standard cleaning work. As a scourer it's not so effective dealing with only medium weight residue, and needing the traditional scouring pads to sort the tougher residue, even after soaking. Can't comment on how long it may last yet...”
Hello, thank you for trying our sponge scourers. We think that loofah fibres are naturally coarse and have good scrubbing power, yet are gentle enough for non-scratch pans. If you require more heavy-duty cleaning, we suggest our copper scourers or washing-up brush
“I have been using the sponge for just over a week and I can safely say it cleans just as well if not better than the cellulose sponges I have used for years. Cuts through burned on food from pans and plates really well and it always feels like new in the morning after it has dried overnight!”
