We have pretty good quality control for all of our products and check each batch that goes out of our factories, but unfortunately, some not-quite-right products do occasionally slip through. We track these product issues and work with our factories to improve them the next time. Often, they arise because we're using natural materials, which are more difficult to work with. “Unfortunately we found that the cleaning pads are very stiff and hard to bend or squeeze them into glasses around cutlery or baby bottles of get into awkward corners. We also found that the rough part of the pad was not rough enought to scrub off hard hard stuck on particals on source spans and frying pans. Even after using them for a whole week, they did not get any softer or harsher to scrub with.”
Thank you for trying our sponge scourers. The more you use them, the more malleable they will become. It sounds like you might prefer the pop-up sponge that we have.
