“Ordered a year's supply of what looked like a great ecological sponge, but loofah is sown to the softer sponge part which makes the sponge incredibly hard to bend, impossible to clean anything smaller, such as cups and glasses. Also the material does not dry at all. Will try to remove loofah from the soft sponge and use them separately as it is not usable on anything else than large plates right now.”
Hello Zuzana, thanks so much for writing your review. I'm sorry our sponges didn't hit the mark. They do soften up with use and become as soft as the green plastic ones after a while. You can accelerate this by popping them in the washing machine or dishwasher too.
“Just received these and was eager to swop to them. But not sure i will be buying more. They are excellent on flat/smooth items but they are so stiff that getting into the base or around the handle of a cup or jug is almost impossible. I think i would need to also buy a brush in order to clean these sorts of items properly.”
Hello Helen, thanks so much for your feedback. The sponges will definitely become less stiff with use. After a week or so they become a lot more flexible and better for small items like glasses. You can speed up softening them by popping them in the washing machine or dishwasher too.

Love the look and feel of it and although I was sceptical that a 12 month supply would last a year but it is a substantial sponge which I am sure will keep on cleaning.”
