Really good sponges, all in one with the soft spongy side and another side to scrub away stuck on bits! Loved them so much, we got a box for the whole year and are recommending them to all our friends and family :)

I was told to sponges with last a month, but they only lasted about two weeks before The scrubby bit started to detach from the sponge. I love that you can cut them up and put them in the food waste but was hoping for a bit more longevity.

Thank you for liking them enough to try them. We have pretty good quality control for all of our products and check each batch that goes out of our factories, but unfortunately, some not-quite-right products do occasionally slip through. We track these product issues and work with our factories to improve them the next time. Often, they arise because we're using natural materials, which are more difficult to work with. If you’re looking to ditch the classic yellow-and-green plastic sponges that eventually end up in a landfill, Seep’s Natural Sponge Scourers are one of the most popular eco-swaps on the market. Based on performance data and user feedback from 2025–2026, here is a balanced review to help you decide if they’re worth the premium price. The Verdict: 5/ 5 Stars ⭐️⭐⭐⭐⭐ Seep succeeds where many "eco" brands fail: they’ve created a sponge that actually feels like a high-quality tool rather than a flimsy compromise. It is excellent for daily washing and surface wiping, though it has a "break-in" period that might frustrate some but I found it was only a few days for mine. The Pros: Why They’re Great Zero Microplastics: Unlike traditional sponges that shed tiny plastic fibers down your drain with every scrub, these are made from 100% wood pulp (cellulose) and loofah. Better Absorbency: Users consistently report that the cellulose side holds more soap and water than synthetic foam, meaning you actually use less washing-up liquid. Truly Compostable: You can literally chop these up and put them in your home compost bin. They break down into organic matter rather than sitting in a landfill for 500 years. Machine Washable: One of their best features is durability; you can toss them in the washing machine or dishwasher to freshen them up, which extends their life to about 4–6 weeks per sponge. The Cons: The Trade-offs Initial Stiffness: When brand new, the loofah side is quite rigid. It can be difficult to shove into narrow glasses or clean tight corners until it has been soaked and used a few times. The sponge were in the picture has been in use for about 3 weeks. Price Point: Although they are more expensive than supermarket plastic sponges, you u are paying for the sustainability credentials and the carbon-offsetting. The yearly subscription offers the best value for money.

Seen these advertised for the last year and finally gave in. The quality is great, they hold up really well, probably last more than a month. And I love that I can chop them up and put in the food bin after. Should have made the swap sooner!

Love the idea of being more environmentally friendly with regards to household products but they have to be durable too. We bought the ‘year’s supply’ offer of sponges and we’ll be through it in around 20 weeks. The product is good. It cleans well but just doesn’t last anywhere near as long as claimed.
