“I love the idea of using a biodegradable sponge, and the purchase went very smoothly. We find the sponge a little bit inflexible, especially when it comes to mugs and glasses. So I must admit that I am using the sponge alongside another one that is easier to use for smaller or narrower dishes.”
Thank you for trying our sponge scourers. The sponge scourers need to be dried out before they can be packaged and dispatched to customers. Rinse under water and give them a little massage before use to soften up. The sponges will become softer upon continued use with washing-up liquid. They will also soften with use, so the longer you use them, the softer and more malleable they get. You can speed this up by popping it into the washing machine or dishwasher a few times. Alternatively, you might like our pop-up sponges
“Got twelve SEEP sponges for cleaning our knives, pans and other kitchen stuff that does not go in the dishwasher. Very pleased with the quality, durability and sustainability of the sponges.”
“I buy a box of 12 Seep eco sponges every year. Each sponge has a smooth side and a rougher side for pans. They are very effective and I wash them once a week, so they keep cleaner and last longer. Gentle on mugs and more delicate crockery, the rougher side does the job with pans. Easy to compost. I'd never go back to plastic sponges.”
“Very effective at cleaning with both the spongy and the abrasive sides.
Very hard wearing, no sign of any bits falling off (like you get with the standard sponge scourers).
Haven't put it in the dishwasher yet, but I like the idea that you can to freshen it up.”
