“I've used the green and yellow plastic sponge scourers for years and hadn't realised how much they polluted the environment. I have tried so many alternatives but none are as effective for cleaning pots and pans etc.
The Seep scourer is the best alternative so far. It seems very hard wearing and durable. Not so good on really burnt on food though.. that would be my only slight criticism.
I don't have a dishwasher so it has been used a lot and has remained intact. I also popped it in with a load of washing and it came out good as new. The added bonus is that I can cut it up and compost it when it wears out.
They're quite a bit more expensive than the green scourers but worth it knowing that I'm no longer harming the environment. All in all a great product.”
