Thank you, Becky, we love them too, and are happy that you have found another job for them when you have finished with them in the kitchen. To speed up the composting we would say to cut them up first :-)

Hello Maxine, we are sorry that you have found them a little stiff to use. The sponge scourers need to be dried out before they can be packaged and dispatched to customers. we suggest that when you start to use them to rinse them under water and give them a little massage before use to soften up the sponges, which will become softer upon continued use with washing up liquid. They will also soften up with usage, so the longer you use it, the softer and more malleable it gets. You can speed this up by popping it into the washing machine or dishwasher a few times. Alternatively, you could try our pop-up sponge.
