Bought these for myself and other family members, and we are all delighted at how well they do their job, and can go in the compost bin afterwards instead of landfill.

Being honest I was a bit apprehensive about changing to these sponges because I have to do so much washing up. But I am really impressed! So much tougher than the standard yellow and green ones. What's also been great is that it doesn't seem to stain which is so much nicer. Love love love that these don't produce microplastics and can biodegrade when done. How fab! Although it seems exspensive when you're making the switch, the sponges are so durable that actually it is brilliant value for money. Really recommend.

I didn't really know what to expect when I ordered this but I can honestly say I'm in love with this sponge. The size is bigger than your standard plastic sponge, but I am a fan and it's not too big for my petite hands. It's super absorbent so the washing up liquid hangs around pretty well when using it. I primarily use the dishwasher but wash most pans, knives and awkward things with this and it's great. You would probably need something a bit rougher if you had a really stubborn stain, but then a good soak and the rough side of this would probably do the job. I can't comment on longevity as I've only used it for a couple of weeks but it's still looking as good as new. And I know that when it's had its run I won't feel awful just throwing another plastic sponge in the bin. Thanks Seep!

They don't work quite as well as the standard yellow/green non-scratch scourers you can get from any supermarket, a little stiff, the loofah isn't as good at removing stuck on food. Compared with the loads of plastic food containers that I wash up to be recycled (how do I buy most food which isn't in some sort of plastic containers) the few non-scratch scourers I throw into landfill is trivial. PS. the compostable bin liners seem to be good, they haven't disintegrated yet!

I had bought coir sponges before and wasn't impressed at how grungy they go and how useless they were on pots and pans. Likewise I had silicon scourers which were too soft even though they could go in the dishwasher. So far the Seep sponges have held up really well and work as good as a regular plastic scouring sponge does. My only small criticism is that they tend to fall apart a little bit when scrubbing something rough but that's not a dealbreaker for me. They are pricey but they last, I'll definitely be buying more when I need them.

I've bought a lot of sponges in my time and I was not prepared to be so impressed with these! They are seriously good. Last far longer than any of the non eco sponges I have bought. After just a few washes with non eco sponges they always looked tatty and frankly a bit embarrassing next to the sink with tomatoes staining the sponge and bobbling etc... However the seep sponges are incredible, They are strong and the scourer works well. For us they definitely don't break down quickly as I saw another review say and they look like new over a month on from first use. No exaggeration! I am converted.

Great at what they do and like the fact that I can lob one into the compost at the end of the month and fish out a new one with a clear conscience.

These sponges are brilliant. Worth the money as they actually last longer than most of the plastic based sponges I’ve used in the past. I bought the ‘one year supply’ and I believe it will be more than a year’s supply. We’re still on the first sponge after more than a month. Great buy.
