“I was very frustrated with my purchase of the Check Mate pyjama bottoms. I had previously purchased the same pyjama style in the Blue Stripe and loved them. I am tall (5 foot 10) and found the Blue Stripe pair lovely and long and the Small fitted me perfectly. They were also super soft and lovely to sleep in. I was so delighted with them that a couple of weeks later, I bought the same size pyjama bottoms in Check Mate. When they arrived I was disappointed to find that they were not made of the same soft material as the Blue Stripe but a rougher fabric, and most annoyingly, they were a completely different size! They were much smaller round the waist and far too short for me. I was forced to send them back as they really didn’t fit and was really annoyed at having to pay the £3.50 return fee when I was only returning them because Stripe & Stare’s sizing was not consistent. Not a happy shopping experience having the hassle and cost of returning something that should have been the same size as a previous purchase!”
