“I ordered a vegan birthday cake. It looked good, but the taste wasn’t quite there. A little bit on the earthy side. I guess being plant based that’s not surprising. Excellent delivery, all on time and packaged well. Kids didn’t know it was vegan, but they didn’t ask for more. It was okay, but probably wouldn’t choose a vegan option again. Would try something else next time.”
“The cake was beautiful although my grown up daughters said it looked like gingerbread bum but of course was light, lots of lovely filling between the layers and covered with sprinklings. The birthday boy himself, Teddy aged 4, said it was really good and when asked how many sprinklings told me it had a lot of 5s! If he has 5 of something, there’s a lot, and his wee face was a picture, so thank you. Kept for ages and was eaten with no ill effects on his tummy due to his intolerance.”
